Problems Scalenes Can Cause
Scalenes can contribute to pain in your head, neck, upper back, chest, shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers. They’re also related to thoracic outlet syndrome. When you massage the scalenes they can cause some refered pain patterns that are surprisingly wide spread. This is especially surprising considering that these are only three tiny muscles in your neck.
Take your time with these muscles as they can be tricky to find initially and your neck is a busy place. Massage them several times a day for a week or two to see dramatic results!
